Terms and Conditions
Duration of Program
We operate on a two-semester schedule, with sessions running from September to December and January to June. Our bands provide flexibility for members to make changes, leave, or join at any point. Unless specified, the default understanding is that bands remain intact for the entire year. Additionally, we offer optional summer programs.
Release of Music
Bands may choose to release their music at any time. Producers at Burch Studio receive production credit for their work.
Music created in the program is owned by the content creator. Songwriters receive song writing credit for their work.
We use Distro Kid for distribution and encourage bands to do the same.
Bands may choose to release through Burch Studio records or release under their own label. Burch Studio records will pay distribution fees for 1 year for each song released and will pay band members even splits for any money made from streaming.
If at any point a band would like to take control of their own distribution, they can at any time.
Bands reserve the right to not release their music.
Makeups
Each band is allocated a dedicated weekly time slot for recording, writing, and rehearsal activities. In the event that your band cannot attend a session, kindly notify us via email at least 2 weeks in advance. We will make every effort to arrange a makeup session. However, if a suitable makeup time cannot be accommodated, the band might regrettably have to skip the session.
Code of Conduct
We prioritize a respectful and inclusive atmosphere. All participants are expected to treat each other with kindness and empathy, valuing diversity and refraining from discriminatory behavior. We collaborate positively, uphold safety, and maintain professionalism during lessons, rehearsals, and performances. Personal boundaries and consent are respected, conflicts are addressed constructively, and equipment is used responsibly. Failure to follow this code of conduct may lead to appropriate actions, including warnings, suspension, or removal from the program. By participating in the Burch Studio Collective, you agree to uphold these standards and contribute to a positive community.
Photo Release
By participating in the collective, you acknowledge and grant us the right and permission to use, reproduce, distribute, and publicly display any photographs and/or video footage captured of you during events, workshops, and rehearsals. These visuals may be utilized in diverse promotional materials, encompassing websites, social media, brochures, newsletters, advertisements, and other marketing mediums. Your involvement in the collective implies your release of Burch Studio, its agents, employees, and any third parties acting under its authority, from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from the utilization of the said photographs and/or video footage.
Drug and Alcohol
Drugs and alcohol usage among minors in the program is not tolerated and is grounds for immediate dismissal.
